I, Nina (Penny) Smith, am the granddaughter of Ruby Menyon (Gray) Smith and the sixth generation of the Gray family line.

The History or Story Behind My Site

This is my genealogy website.  I have been tracing my family roots since 1993.  It has been a tedious and ongoing process.  Initially, I could only find the family members on my grandmother and up.  One summer my grandmother received a letter from an unknown family member (Allen Curtis Gray) in Chicago inviting her to a family reunion.  I wrote to Allen explaining who I was and found out that he had traced the family members on my great-grandfather (Adam Gray) and down.  We exchanged information which was a great help to me.
